The third section cites two sūtras to establish the point. This is the verse spoken by the elder's son Ratnakūṭa in the *Vimalakīrtinirdeśa*; the older translation reads thus. The current translation reads: "Without mind, intellect, or feeling, without action, / Unmoving in equal awakening, he establishes all dharmas." "Equal awakening" is prajñā. This means that sacred wisdom is unmoving and yet leaves nothing undone, hence it says, "he establishes sentient beings in the limit of reality." As for "Therefore, though the sage's traces are myriad, their ultimate import is one": His various manifestations are called "myriad"; because they are all the singular operation of prajñā, it is called "one."
