"‘Long staying in a secluded place,
Contemplating the Way, how pleasant its blessing!
What I formerly vowed and wished to hear,
Now fully known, how pleasant!
Not being molested by others,
Being able to bring peace to sentient beings, how pleasant!
Transcending the world, the three poisons extinguished,
Attaining the Buddha's Nirvāṇa, how pleasant!
Being born into the world and beholding the Buddha,
Hearing and receiving the scriptural Dharma, how pleasant!
Meeting with pratyekabuddhas
And true persons, also how pleasant!
Not engaging with fools,
Being able to depart from evil people, how pleasant!
Possessing wisdom to discern the true from the false,
Knowing and having faith in the correct path, how pleasant!’
