2.21
"‘Through countless kalpas, people have been in worldly birth and death;
Only the Buddha's scriptures are difficult to hear.
Since there is a Buddha in the world who can deliver to the utmost,
Now that the vow has been fulfilled, such a one is rare among humans.
Supreme and ultimate, no Buddha compares to you;
Therefore I bow my head in worship.
The world is bound in attachment, having long remained in darkness;
Now the Ten Powers have arisen, with spiritual wisdom boundless.
You should open the Dharma treasury and bestow the light of wisdom,
Illuminating all gods and humans to bring them understanding.
The Buddha can deliver all;
Therefore I resolve to take refuge.
From your initial resolve, you vowed to act for those in suffering;
With humble toil you accumulated virtue, and your vows are now fulfilled.
Ignorance, old age, and death bring long decline, truly lamentable;
You should bestow the medicine of the Dharma to heal all sickness and pain.
No compassion and pity surpasses the Buddha's;
Therefore I bow my head and make this request.’
