The first sentence generally reproaches them; 'the true' refers to immutability. Great Master Xianshou says: 'The ultimate reality sits right before one's eyes, yet turns into an objective realm of names and marks.' The next two sentences directly reproach the manifestation of their lack of realization. Knowing that the past does not come, they nevertheless reckon that the present can go—this is delusion. The last two sentences point directly to immutability. Since one already knows that past things do not come, one can readily awaken to the fact that present things do not go.
