是以如來因群情之所滯，則（準也）方（正也）言以辨惑。乘（憑也）莫二之真心，吐不一之殊教。乖而不可異者，其唯聖言乎。故談真有不遷之稱，導俗有流動之說。雖復千途異唱，而會歸同致矣。

"Therefore, because of where the masses' minds are blocked, the Tathāgata relies on correct words to resolve their doubts; availing himself of the non-dual true mind, he utters diverse and varied teachings. That they appear contradictory yet cannot be different—is that not true only of the sages' words? Thus, in discussing the ultimate, there is the designation of 'immutability'; in guiding the conventional, there is the explanation of 'flowing movement.' Although they are varied calls of a thousand paths, their convergence returns to the same purport."
