文通二對，皆上句舉執、下句出違。若古今互遷，亦應互有。然執者但執今去古，不執古來今。今亦云者，但例說爾。

The text encompasses two pairs, in each of which the upper line sets forth the clinging and the lower line brings out the contradiction. If the past and the present mutually shifted, they should also mutually contain each other. However, the clingers merely cling to the present departing into the past, not to the past coming into the present. That it also speaks of this here is merely an analogical statement.
