即彼經初品中文。心為諸法之本，然通真妄，真謂如來藏心，亦非有無，如無名論引釋；妄即妄想識心，從緣生者，亦非有無。此中辯之。以經義含有二法，故不可局。

This is a passage in the first chapter of that sūtra. The mind is the root of all dharmas, yet it extends through both the true and the false. The true refers to the tathāgatagarbha mind, which is also neither existent nor non-existent, as cited and explained in the Niepan wuming lun; the false is the discriminating conscious mind, which arises from conditions and is also neither existent nor non-existent. This is analyzed here. Because the sūtra's meaning contains both dharmas, it cannot be restricted.
