然者，猶云雖然中下疑笑，要使真言不滯、宗途大明、常情悟入，欲罷不能，略復依言寄真一之心於動靜之際。未敢必是，但試為論之，謙也。

'Yet' is like saying: although middling and inferior persons doubt and laugh, in order to make the true words unobstructed, the doctrinal path brilliantly clear, and ordinary sentiments awaken and enter, I wish to stop but cannot; so I briefly rely on words to lodge the mind of true unity in the boundary of motion and rest. I dare not say it is definitely correct, but merely try to discuss it—this is modesty.
