《大品》云：「般若於佛滅後先至南方，次至西方，次至北方大盛。」震旦在天竺東北，今什公道通，應斯懸記。
The Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā says: "After the Buddha's parinirvāṇa, prajñā will first go to the south, next to the west, and next to the north where it will flourish greatly." Cīnasthāna lies to the northeast of India. Now that Master Kumārajīva's Way has reached here, it corresponds to this distant prediction.
