遺民和南：頃餐（味）徽（美）聞（去聲），有懷遙佇（久立），歲末寒嚴，體中（道）如何？音（信）寄壅隔，增用抱蘊。弟子沈痾（病身）草澤（藪澤），常有弊瘵（病）耳。因慧明道人北游，裁（纔司）通其情。

Liu Yimin pays reverent homage: Recently I have savoured your fine renown, and have longed for you from afar. In this severe cold at year's end, how is your physical well-being? Correspondence has been blocked and separated, which only adds to my pent-up feelings. This disciple suffers from chronic illness in the marshes and wilds, constantly beset by weariness and infirmity. Taking advantage of the Daoist practitioner Huiming's journey to the north, I am just barely able to convey my sentiments.
