遺民欲難，托於眾情，故云但今等。疑寂用非二之旨，以求權實兩殊。

Liu Yimin wished to raise objections, but attributed them to the sentiments of the multitude, and therefore says 'Yet what current', etc. They doubt the purport that quiescence and function are not two, in order to seek a distinction between upāya and tattva.
