神用涉有，由無思慮，有不能縛，故云世表。王，榮也。正智契真，由非知故，事不為礙，故云事外。如清涼釋離世間，疏云：「處世無染即是離也。」

The function of spirit involves being; because it is without thought or deliberation, being cannot bind it, so it is said to be "beyond the world." "Reign" means to flourish. Correct wisdom accords with the real; because it is not knowing, phenomena do not obstruct it, so it is said to be "outside of phenomena." As Qingliang, explaining "leaving the world," states in his commentary: "Dwelling in the world without defilement is precisely leaving it."
