復審前難。以前云：此可謂聖人不自有其知，安得無知哉？故先審定。下責云。

Here he re-examines the earlier objection. Because the objector previously said, "This can only be said to mean that the sage does not regard his knowing as his own; how could he be without knowing?", he first verifies and fixes it. Below he censures him.
