2.85

假牒彼救也。恐難者別會經意，救云：經稱般若清淨者，非謂無知故清淨，約知見性空故云清淨。若云爾者，下反詰云。

This provisionally presents their attempted rescue. Fearing that the objector might interpret the sūtra's meaning differently and rescue his position by saying: "The sūtra calls prajñā pure not because it is without knowing, but because knowing and seeing are empty of own-nature; therefore it is called pure." If one says this, then below he cross-examines him.
