由言封名、志器耽象，所以雙亡。《楞伽》云：「名相常相隨，而生於妄想。」
Because of words, one is confined by names; because of intent on vessels, one is addicted to images; therefore both are cast aside. The Laṅkāvatāra says: 'Names and marks constantly accompany each other, and they arise from delusive conceptualization.'
