其為稱也（二名），因應而作，顯跡為生、息跡為滅，生名有餘、滅名無餘。

As for its designations (the two names), they arise based on responses: displaying traces is called arising, and putting traces to rest is called cessation; arising is named [nirvāṇa] with remainder, and cessation is named [nirvāṇa] without remainder.
