初四句，引前違文。請覈，正難。下意云：妙道之體畢竟有之。體雖玄妙，不可謂無，便入有境。下無例同。總而下，正顯所收。意謂：妙本非有非無者，非有即是無、非無即是有，未曾見一法異有之外而為非無者。下句例說。

The first four lines cite the preceding contradictory text. 'Please let us examine' is the direct challenge. The meaning below is: the substance of the marvelous path must ultimately exist. Though its substance is mysterious and marvelous, it cannot be called non-existent, and thus it enters the realm of existence. The case of non-existence below follows the same rule. From 'comprehensively' downward directly shows what is encompassed. The meaning is: as for the marvel being originally neither existent nor non-existent, non-existence is just non-being, and non-non-being is just being; one has never seen a single dharma outside of existence that is non-non-existent. The next sentence follows the same pattern.
