不在有無，則不可於有無得之矣（一也）；不出有無，則不可以離有無求之矣（二也）；求之無所，便應都無（三也）。

If it does not abide in being and non-being, then it cannot be grasped within being and non-being (first point); if it does not transcend being and non-being, then it cannot be sought apart from being and non-being (second point); if seeking it yields no locus, then it must be entirely non-existent (third point).
