論末章云「諸家通第一義諦，皆云廓然空寂無有聖人。吾常以為乖殊，太甚逕庭，不近人情。若無聖人，知無者誰？」

“The concluding section of Your Majesty's treatise says: ‘The various traditions in understanding the ultimate truth (*paramārtha-satya*) all say that it is wide open, empty, and tranquil, with no sage. I have always considered this to be discordant, excessively divergent, and contrary to human sentiment. If there were no sage, who would know non-existence?’”
