實如明詔，實如明詔。夫道恍惚窈冥，其中有精。若無聖人，誰與道游？頃諸學徒，莫不躊躇道門、怏怏此旨，懷疑終日莫之能正。

“It is truly as the enlightened edict states; it is truly as the enlightened edict states! Now, the Dao is elusive and dark, yet within it there is an essence. If there were no sage, who would consort with the Dao? Recently, among the students, there was none who did not hesitate before the gate of the Dao and feel aggrieved over this purport, harboring doubts all day long without anyone able to rectify them.
