3.31

㦎，破帛聲，喻疑情破也。蔚，草木盛貌。玄室，謂勝義涅槃。意云：達逢明君高見判決，疑蓋㦎然而裂，扣關者盛登於玄室也。真可謂下，歎。

The character *hua* (with fanqie *huo-mai*) represents the sound of tearing silk, an analogy for doubts being broken through. “In abundance” (*wei*) describes luxuriant vegetation. “Profound chamber” refers to ultimate nirvāṇa. The idea is: having encountered the enlightened sovereign's lofty judgment, the veil of doubts was torn asunder, and those who knock at the gate ascended abundantly to the profound chamber. “Truly, this may be called…” below is praise.
