以知者，依經求理，理自昭著，貴於妙合。妙合之旨，因乎忘智內冥，二而不二、一亦遣矣。此文亦通包前義，智會之時通於古也。

"Hence we know" means seeking the principle based on the scriptures; when the principle becomes self-evident, it values subtle concord. The purport of subtle concord is due to forgetting wisdom and inwardly merging in dark communion; two yet not two, even the oneness is relinquished. This text also broadly encompasses the preceding meaning: the moment of wisdom's concord extends throughout all antiquity.
