伏惟陛下叡（聖）哲（智）欽（敬）明道與神會，妙契環中理無不統（貫），游刃萬機弘道終日，威被蒼生垂文作則（法），所以域中有四大，而王居一焉。

I respectfully reflect that Your Majesty's sagely wisdom is reverent and luminous, your Dao tallies with the spirit, you wondrously accord with the center of the ring, and there is no principle you do not comprehend; you glide your blade through myriad affairs, propagating the Dao all day long; your majesty covers the common folk, and you bestow writings to serve as models. Therefore, within the realm there are four greats, and the king resides as one among them.
