3.85

通有四事：一餘緣，即度餘之機；二餘跡，即所依之身；三餘業，即感報之業猶有魂氣；四聖智未滅。皆有餘也。

Generally there are four matters: first, residual conditions, which are the capacities of those remaining to be delivered; second, residual traces, which is the body relied upon; third, residual karma, which is the karma that produces retribution still possessing spirit and breath; fourth, holy wisdom has not yet ceased. All of these belong to what has remainder.
