無餘者，謂至人教緣都訖，靈照永滅廓爾無眹，故曰無餘。
"As for [nirvāṇa] without remainder, it means that for the consummate person, the conditions for teaching are completely finished, luminous illumination is forever extinguished, wide and void without any sign; therefore it is called 'without remainder.'"
