This is a passage from fascicle twenty-four of that sūtra. From "It is only that the Tathāgata" onwards, that text states: "It is only that the Tathāgata's habit-energies and fetters are completely exhausted, while the śrāvakas' habit-energies and fetters are not all exhausted," and so on, which refers to the two obstructions, seeds, and habit-energies. This divides into three distinctions based on the depth or shallowness of the cutting off of delusions by the three vehicles; it does not mean that nirvāṇa itself has three [types].
