破魔羅義，以七門分別：一列名不同、二釋名出體、三明廢立、四辨所障、五能破差別、六真破位次、七示相降時。

The meaning of defeating Māra is distinguished through seven gates: first, enumeration of the different names; second, explanation of the names and presentation of the essential natures; third, clarification of inclusion and exclusion; fourth, discernment of what is obstructed; fifth, distinctions among the subduers; sixth, the stages of true subduing; seventh, showing the signs at the time of subjugation.
