四十七云：由得清淨勝意樂故。為欲供養最勝有情真實福田大師法王，是故引發第一大願。為欲受持彼所宣說無上正法，是故引發第二大願。為欲勸請轉未曾有妙正法輪，是故引發第三大願。為欲隨彼行菩薩行，是故引發第四大願。為欲成熟彼器有情，是故引發第五大願。為欲往趣諸佛國土，奉見如來，承事供養正法，是故引發第六大願。為淨修治自佛國土，是故引發第七大願。為於一切在所生處，常不遠離諸佛菩薩，與諸菩薩常同一味意樂加行，是故引發第八大願。常為利益一切有情，曾無空過，是故引發第九大願。為證無上正等菩提，作諸佛事，是故引發第十大願。

Fascicle forty-seven states: Because of attaining a pure, surpassing intention, in order to desire to make offerings to the supreme sentient being, the true field of merit, the Great Master and Dharma King, they therefore generate the first great vow. In order to desire to uphold the unexcelled true Dharma proclaimed by him, they therefore generate the second great vow. In order to desire to entreat the turning of the wondrous wheel of the true Dharma never seen before, they therefore generate the third great vow. In order to desire to follow him in practicing the bodhisattva practice, they therefore generate the fourth great vow. In order to desire to mature those sentient beings who are suitable vessels, they therefore generate the fifth great vow. In order to desire to go to the lands of the Buddhas, meet the Tathāgatas, and attend to and make offerings to the true Dharma, they therefore generate the sixth great vow. In order to purify their own Buddha-lands, they therefore generate the seventh great vow. In order to never be separated from the Buddhas and bodhisattvas in all places of rebirth, and to always share the same single flavor of intention and application with all bodhisattvas, they therefore generate the eighth great vow. In order to always benefit all sentient beings without ever doing so in vain, they therefore generate the ninth great vow. In order to realize unexcelled, perfect bodhi and carry out all Buddha activities, they therefore generate the tenth great vow.
