《瑜伽》七十九云：菩薩略有四上品障，若不淨除，終不堪能入菩薩地及地漸次。何等為四？一者於諸菩薩毘奈耶中起染污犯、二者毀謗大乘相應妙法、三者未積集善根、四者有染愛心。為治此四，一者遍於十方諸佛如來所，深心懇責發露悔過。二者遍為利益一切十方諸有情類，勸請一切如來說法。三者遍於十方一切有情所有功德，皆生隨喜。四者凡所生起一切善根，皆悉迴向阿耨菩提。

Fascicle seventy-nine of the Yogācārabhūmi says: A bodhisattva has, in brief, four superior obstacles; if they are not purified and eliminated, one will ultimately be incapable of entering the bodhisattva bhūmis and the succession of the bhūmis. What are the four? First, giving rise to defiled transgressions within the vinaya of the bodhisattvas; second, slandering the wondrous Dharma associated with the Great Vehicle; third, not yet having accumulated wholesome roots; and fourth, having a defiled mind of attachment. To remedy these four: first, toward the Tathāgatas, the Buddhas of the ten directions everywhere, with a deep mind sincerely reprimand oneself, disclose, and repent one's faults. Second, everywhere for the benefit of all kinds of sentient beings in the ten directions, entreat all Tathāgatas to preach the Dharma. Third, everywhere rejoice in all merits possessed by all sentient beings in the ten directions. Fourth, dedicate all wholesome roots that are produced toward anuttarā [samyak]sambodhi.
