二世樂有九：謂於他有情，依淨身業，勸離殺生、離不與取、離欲邪行、離一切窣羅若迷麗耶及以末陀放逸處酒；依淨語業，勸離一切妄語、離離語、離麁語、離穢語；依淨意業，勸離貪、瞋、癡。

Joy in the two worlds has nine [types]: namely, toward other sentient beings, relying on pure bodily action, exhorting them to refrain from killing living beings, refrain from taking what is not given, refrain from sexual misconduct, and refrain from all surā, maireya, and madya liquors that are the basis of negligence; relying on pure verbal action, exhorting them to refrain from all false speech, refrain from divisive speech, refrain from harsh speech, and refrain from idle chatter; relying on pure mental action, exhorting them to refrain from covetousness, ill will, and delusion.
