3.17

「弟子某甲等，奉請十方諸佛如來、應、正等覺，為受菩薩戒證戒師。我依證戒師故，得受菩薩戒，慈愍故（三說）。」

"I, disciple so-and-so, and others, respectfully invite the Tathāgatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas, all the Buddhas of the ten directions, to be the certifying masters for receiving the bodhisattva precepts. Relying on the certifying masters, I am able to receive the bodhisattva precepts, out of compassionate pity." (Spoken three times).
