十業令得下族姓報：一不敬父、二不敬母、三不敬沙門、四不敬婆羅門、五於尊長不敬護、六於師長不奉迎供養、七見尊者不奉迎請坐、八於父母所不尊教誨、九於賢聖所不受教誨、十輕蔑下族。十業得上族報，翻前即是。十業令生得少資財報：一自行盜、二教他行、三讚他盜、四見盜歡喜、五於父母所減損生業、六於賢聖侵奪資財、七見他得利心不歡喜、八障他得利為作留難、九見他行施無隨喜心、十見飢饉心不憐愍而生歡喜。十業令生得多資財，翻前可知。

Ten karmas cause one to receive the retribution of a low clan and lineage: first, not respecting one's father; second, not respecting one's mother; third, not respecting śramaṇas; fourth, not respecting brāhmaṇas; fifth, not respecting or protecting elders; sixth, not welcoming or making offerings to teachers and elders; seventh, upon seeing venerables, not welcoming them or inviting them to sit; eighth, not respecting the instructions and admonitions of parents; ninth, not accepting the instructions and admonitions of noble ones and sages; tenth, slighting and scorning low clans. Ten karmas result in the retribution of a high clan: the reverse of the preceding is it. Ten karmas cause one in birth to receive the retribution of few possessions: first, personally engaging in theft; second, instructing others to engage [in it]; third, praising another's theft; fourth, rejoicing at seeing theft; fifth, reducing and damaging the livelihood of parents; sixth, encroaching upon and seizing the wealth of noble ones and sages; seventh, feeling unhappy in one's heart upon seeing others gain profit; eighth, obstructing others from gaining profit and making difficulties for them; ninth, having no mind of rejoicing upon seeing others practice giving; tenth, having no pity upon seeing famine, but instead rejoicing. Ten karmas cause one in birth to receive much wealth: this can be known by reversing the preceding.
