奉施寶蓋得十功德：一者處世如蓋覆護眾生，二身心安穩離諸熱惱，三一切敬重無敢輕慢，四者有大威勢，五常得親近諸佛菩薩大威德者以為眷屬，六者恒作轉輪聖王，七者恒為上首修習善業，八、九、十報如禮佛後三。

Offering a jeweled canopy yields ten merits: first, dwelling in the world like a canopy, sheltering and protecting sentient beings; second, body and mind being at peace, free from all burning afflictions; third, being respected by all, none daring to slight or despise one; fourth, possessing great majestic power; fifth, constantly being able to draw near to Buddhas and bodhisattvas of great majesty and virtue as one's retinue; sixth, constantly becoming a wheel-turning sage king; seventh, constantly being a leader who practices wholesome karmas; eighth, ninth, and tenth retributions are as the latter three for paying homage to the Buddha.
