以鐘鈴施得十功德：一得梵音聲、二有大名聞三識宿命、四所出言人皆敬愛、五常有寶蓋以自莊嚴、六有妙瓔珞以為服飾、七者面貌端嚴見者歡喜，餘三如禮佛後三。

Giving bells yields ten merits: first, attaining the voice of Brahmā; second, possessing great fame; third, knowing past lives; fourth, all people revering and cherishing what one utters; fifth, constantly having a jeweled canopy to adorn oneself; sixth, having exquisite necklaces as bodily ornaments; seventh, having an upright and dignified countenance that brings joy to those who see it; the remaining three are as the latter three for paying homage to the Buddha.
