恭敬合掌得十功德：一者得勝福報、二生於上族、三得勝妙色、四得勝妙聲、五得勝妙蓋、六得勝妙辨、七得勝妙信、八得勝妙戒、九得勝妙多聞、十得勝妙智也。

Respectfully joining the palms yields ten merits: first, attaining supreme fortunate retribution; second, being born into a high clan; third, attaining supreme and exquisite physical form; fourth, attaining supreme and exquisite voice; fifth, attaining supreme and exquisite canopies; sixth, attaining supreme and exquisite eloquence; seventh, attaining supreme and exquisite faith; eighth, attaining supreme and exquisite precepts; ninth, attaining supreme and exquisite vast learning; tenth, attaining supreme and exquisite wisdom.
