3.34

「善男子、善女人等諦聽！二者、若有菩薩，於戒師所，三說求受菩薩戒竟，有財有法，有來求者，慳不施與，非真菩薩，假名菩薩，無慚無愧，犯波羅夷。汝等從今身盡未來際，不得犯，能持不？」（答言：能）。

"Good sons and good daughters, listen attentively! Second: If there is a bodhisattva who, after asking three times to receive the bodhisattva precepts at the place of the precept master, possesses wealth and Dharma, but when someone comes to seek it, is stingy and does not give it, they are not a true bodhisattva but a bodhisattva in name only; without shame and conscience, they commit a pārājika. From this present body until the end of the future, you must not violate it. Are you able to maintain it?" (They answer: "Able.")
