次隨所作詣諸比丘，請諸法性相詣論師所，問戒持犯詣律師所，坐禪習定詣禪師所等。

Next, according to the matters at hand, he approaches the bhikṣus: he approaches the treatise masters to inquire about the characteristics and nature of dharmas; he approaches the Vinaya masters to ask about precepts, observance, and transgressions; he approaches the meditation masters to practice seated meditation and cultivate samādhi, and so forth.
