"Good sons and good daughters, listen attentively! Third: If there is a bodhisattva who, after asking three times to receive the bodhisattva precepts at the place of the precept master, having previously quarreled, disputed, and contended with another, when the other comes seeking forgiveness, does not accede to their request out of anger and resentment, and does not quickly seek repentance from the other themselves, they are not a true bodhisattva but a bodhisattva in name only; without shame and conscience, they commit a pārājika. From this present body until the end of the future, you must not violate it. Are you able to maintain it?" (They answer: "Able.")
