承元二年戊辰十二月十二日申刻，於西小田原東谷寶塔院南面部屋書寫之。願以書寫力，上生都率天，聞法為悟解，決定證不退。

"Transcribed during the hour of the monkey on the twelfth day of the twelfth month of the second year of Jōgen, wuchen, in the south-facing room of Hōtō-in, East Valley, Nishi-Odawara. May the power of this transcription lead to rebirth above in Tuṣita Heaven, to hear the Dharma and attain awakening, definitely realizing non-retrogression."
