何故爾耶？答：《中邊》釋云：「一由最勝，二由無盡故，於大乘修福無邊，非二乘也。」
Why is it so? Answer: The Madhyāntavibhāga-bhāṣya explains: "First, because it is the most supreme; second, because it is inexhaustible; hence, cultivating in the Mahāyāna yields boundless merit, which is not so for the two vehicles."
