三、或通攝二機，令得二益，此亦有二：若先以三乘引出，後令得一乘，亦是三一和合，攝機成二益，故屬同教，此如《法華經》說。若界內見聞，出世得法，出出世證成；或界內通見聞解行，出世唯解行，出出世唯證入，此等屬別教一乘，此如《華嚴》說。

3. Or it comprehensively gathers both kinds of faculties, enabling them to attain both benefits. This also has two kinds: If one first uses the Three Vehicles to lead them out, and afterwards enables them to attain the One Vehicle, this is also the harmony of the three and the one, gathering faculties to accomplish two benefits; therefore it belongs to the common teaching, as explained in the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra. If there is seeing and hearing within the realm, attainment of the dharma in the supramundane, and realization and completion in the trans-supramundane; or within the realm there is comprehensively seeing, hearing, understanding, and practice, in the supramundane there is only understanding and practice, and in the trans-supramundane there is only realization and entry—these belong to the distinct teaching One Vehicle, as explained in the Avataṃsaka-sūtra.
