華嚴一乘教義分齊章 4.37

4.37

初門中有十門，一者一。何以故？緣成故。一即十。何以故？若無一，即無十故，由一有體，餘皆空故，是故此一即是十矣。如是向上乃至第十，皆各如前，準可知耳。

In the first approach, there are ten approaches. First, one. Why? Because it is accomplished through conditions. One is identical with ten. Why? Because if there were no one, there would be no ten; because one has essence, the rest are all empty; therefore, this one is identical with ten. In this way, going upward up to the tenth, each is as before, as can be known by inference.
