問：諸教色文有何差別？答：依小乘色有十一，三乘色有二十五等，一乘色總別有一百一十種。三乘色內，逈色者情謂障外之色，影像色者定心成就色境界等像，彼先色憶持及眼所見色故也。一乘色如〈十明品〉釋，不同凡色，聖境界故。

Question: What differences are there in the passages on matter across the teachings? Answer: According to the Hīnayāna, there are eleven kinds of matter; according to the triyāna, there are twenty-five kinds and so forth; in the Ekayāna, matter has generally and specifically one hundred and ten kinds. Within the matter of the triyāna, matter of distance is mentally conceptualized as matter outside obstacles; reflection matter is images such as the objective realms of matter accomplished by the mind in concentration, because it is former matter remembered and retained and matter seen by the eyes. The matter of the Ekayāna is explained as in the 'Chapter on the Ten Clarities'; it is not the same as ordinary matter, because it is the realm of the noble ones.
