二依《攝論》建立賴耶，有其八義。初依三相義知有本識、二依熏習義成有本識、三依互為因果義成有本識、四依不一不異義成有本識、五依因果別不別義成有本識、六依緣生義成有本識、七依彼因緣具不具義成有本識、八依會名歸正成有本識。

Second, the establishment of the ālayavijñāna according to the Mahāyānasaṃgraha has eight points: first, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of the three characteristics; second, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of perfuming; third, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of mutual cause and effect; fourth, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of neither identity nor difference; fifth, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of the distinction and non-distinction of cause and effect; sixth, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of conditioned arising; seventh, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to the meaning of whether those causes and conditions are complete or incomplete; eighth, establishing the existence of the fundamental consciousness according to reconciling the names to return to what is correct.
