2.77

七財者，謂信、施、戒、聞、慧、慚、愧。資用成佛是財義，此是三乘義。若為一乘目，即入一乘教。若據別教門，財義即無盡。故下經文，道場神指其寶藏，任善財取，證會上地顯資財義。餘如別章。

The seven treasures are: faith, generosity, morality, learning, wisdom, shame, and remorse. Supplying resources to achieve Buddhahood is the meaning of "treasure"; this is the Triyāna meaning. If they serve as the designation for the Ekayāna, they enter the Ekayāna teaching. If based on the gate of the distinct teaching, the meaning of treasure is inexhaustible. Therefore, the subsequent text of the sūtra states that the guardian spirit of the bodhimaṇḍa pointed to his jewel treasury and let Sudhana take from it at will, which, by realizing and matching the higher stages, clarifies the meaning of wealth and resources. The rest is as in the separate chapter.
