4.9

十忍者，謂隨順音聲忍、順忍、無生法忍、如幻忍、如炎忍、如夢忍、如響忍、如電忍、如化忍、如虛空忍。此忍通十地。所以說十者，欲顯無量故。廣解如別章。

The ten kṣāntis are: the kṣānti of conforming to sounds, the conforming kṣānti, the kṣānti of the non-arising of dharmas (anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti), the illusion-like kṣānti, the mirage-like kṣānti, the dream-like kṣānti, the echo-like kṣānti, the lightning-like kṣānti, the phantom-like kṣānti, and the space-like kṣānti. These kṣāntis run through all ten bhūmis. The reason ten are spoken of is that it intends to reveal the immeasurable. The full explanation is as in the separate section.
