夫以常恒之說，前後際而無涯，況念劫圓融，豈可辨其時分？今略舉短脩分齊，析為十重：初唯一念、二盡七日、三遍三際、四攝同類、五收異劫、六念攝劫、七復重收、八異界時、九彼相入、十本收末。

Now, as it is an eternal expounding, the prior and posterior limits are boundless; how much less, with the perfect fusion of thought-moments and kalpas, could its divisions of time be distinguished? Now I briefly raise the limits of brevity and length, dividing them into ten layers: first, solely a single thought-moment; second, exhausting seven days; third, pervading the three periods of time; fourth, encompassing identical kinds; fifth, gathering different kalpas; sixth, thought-moments encompassing kalpas; seventh, reiterative gathering; eighth, time in different worlds; ninth, their mutual entry; tenth, the origin gathering the branches.
