十、顯法眾者，如舍利弗、須菩提等五百聲聞，在此法會如聾，託此反示一乘法界由彼方現此法深廣，猶如因皂以現白等。此眾無有結通，以是別非普故、相違因故。以前十類為器為模印佛法界，以成無盡法門海耳。

Tenth, the assembly revealing the Dharma: such as the five hundred śrāvakas including Śāriputra, Subhūti, and others, who are in this Dharma assembly as if deaf; relying on this to conversely display the One Vehicle dharmadhātu, it is because of them that the profound vastness of this Dharma is made evident, just as black is used to bring out white. This assembly has no general concluding connection, because it is specific and not universal, and serves as a contradictory cause. Taking the previous ten categories as the vessel and pattern, they imprint the Buddha's dharmadhātu to form the inexhaustible ocean of Dharma gates.
