四、上本經者，此是結集書記之上本也，故龍樹菩薩往龍宮，見此《大不思議解脫經》有三本，上本有十三千大千世界微塵數偈，四天下微塵數品，此之謂也。

Fourth, as for the Superior Version of the Sūtra: this is the superior version compiled and written down. Thus when the Bodhisattva Nāgārjuna went to the Dragon Palace, he saw that this Mahācintyavimokṣa-sūtra had three versions. The superior version had gāthās equal to the subtle atoms of ten trichiliocosms and chapters equal to the subtle atoms of the four continents; this is what is meant.
