Third, the benefit of initiating practice means that if one initiates a single practice of Samantabhadra, it immediately pervades all stages of practice, all single merits, all dharmas, all places, all times, all causes, and all fruits, exhausting the dharmadhātu and fully possessing everything, like Indra's net and so on. Therefore, a single practice penetrates to the ultimate. As the "Chapter on Samantabhadra" briefly reveals sixty kinds of Samantabhadra practices, each and every one pervades all and swiftly reaches the fruit of Buddhahood. Hence the sūtra says: "If a bodhisattva-mahāsattva is able to hear this Dharma and applies slight skill-in-means, they will swiftly attain anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi, becoming equal to the Buddhas of the three periods of time." It is just as explained at length in the verses of that text.
